Mid-Length Surfboards
Mid-length surfboards are versatile, falling between shortboards and longboards and ranging from 6'8" to 8'8". They offer good flotation for catching waves easily, while still allowing for some maneuverability. These boards commonly feature a full nose, low to moderate rocker, and boxy rails. Some mini-mals are designed for stable, cruisy riding in smaller waves, while others are optimized for performance in bigger waves. Common fin configurations include single, twin, and thruster setups.
