Feature Film:

"Tom & I"

An unusual friendship steeped in surf nostalgia and old fashioned self authentication. Surfing makes them both relatable. Tom and I story weaves together two seemingly different lives that parallel in many ways. Tom Curren became everyone's surf hero. Kito San pioneered surf culture in Japan and beyond. One with board and the other with camera, the duo capture the heart of historical surfing. The film follows Kito presently, as he and his wife Amy travel North in their classic VW bus. A visit to Tom for another trip down memory lane. The story features rare archival surf footage and photography documented on local sun soaked beaches from around the globe. Unmistakable bonus clips provided by the Sonny Miller archives.

Short Films:

"Twin Fin Rodeo" By Ninety Six Wave
An overwater exploration of surf culture and surf craft in the Lowcountry. A film to bring surfers and shapers together and find the Ultimate Twin Fin for sub bar conditions. Each shaper was tasked with these few requirements: A board bewteen 5’8 and 6’0 Any color you want And of course just two fins Shapers: LongToe , Grasshopper, Advanced Research, Secula For the rules of the test: Each surfer has to ride all 4 boards. They vote for their favorite board from 1st place to 4th. All votes are tallied. At the end of the film there will be and audience vote for your favorite as well. The winner of that poll will get 4 additional points added to their total and so on. With the score being close it will be a close race to the winning twin fin. Thank you to all the surfers that got to ride and test the boards.
