John has been surfing for over 30 years. He grew up surfing on Folly Beach and skateboarding on James Island, South Carolina. He spent some time in San Diego in the late 90’s surfing breaks such as OB, PB , La Jolla and Black’s Beach. John has also spent time traveling to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua and up and down the East Coast. He likes to ride retro shapes and shortboards. John is super passionate about the ocean and surfs any chance he gets, all year round. When not in the water, John likes to spend his free time with his wife Jess and 3 kids Jack, Joey and Julianne.
