Mason has spent his first 17 years of life honing his surf skills in the Atlantic off of Carolina Beach, NC. Not much of a contest surfer, he considers himself a free surfer who surfs for the stoke of it — we support that! Afterall, surfing at the core is an art form and one of the greatest attributes is freedom. As long as he’s getting his surf on, he’s happy walking a log, carving a retro twin or slashing his shorty.
He’s recently been toying with the idea of shooting a surf film but we're thinking he may have a hard time committing to being on that side of the lense. Either way he’s got a concept for a film called “Unknown” so let’s wait and see. Maybe he’ll film it. Maybe he’ll be in it. Maybe both. Get busy Mason!
